KokuaOS — SMS Terms and Conditions

The terms that govern text-messaging programs KokuaOS operates in its own name, and the baseline terms for programs a Customer or Service Provider operates using KokuaOS technology.
Capitalized terms have the meanings in the KokuaOS Definitions Schedule (kokuaos.com/legal/definitions).
1. Scope
These SMS Terms and Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern (a) text-messaging programs KokuaOS operates in its own name, and (b) baseline messaging terms for programs a Customer or Service Provider operates using KokuaOS technology, where that Customer or Service Provider — not KokuaOS — is identified to the recipient as the sender. Where a Customer's own program terms differ from this baseline, the Customer's terms control for its downstream recipients, provided they meet the requirements of the Messaging Acceptable Use Policy (kokuaos.com/legal/messaging-policy) and applicable law. These SMS Terms supplement, and do not limit, the Master Terms & Conditions (kokuaos.com/legal/master-terms) and the Acceptable Use Policy (kokuaos.com/legal/aup).
2. Program description
Depending on the program you join, messages may include account and service notifications, support responses, appointment or scheduling messages, order or service-status updates, requested information, authentication or security notifications, or promotional messages where you have separately consented to receive them. Your consent applies only to the specific sender and program disclosed when you opted in.
3. Consent
By affirmatively opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS or MMS messages at the mobile number you provide. Consent to promotional or marketing messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Where both informational and promotional messaging are offered, promotional consent is requested through a separate, independently unchecked opt-in.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the program and your interactions with the sender.
5. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
6. Opt-out
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. Other supported opt-out keywords may be available for a given program. After opting out, you may receive one final message confirming the opt-out was processed; no further messages will be sent for that program unless you opt in again.
7. Help
Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@kokuaos.com. Programs operated by a Customer or Service Provider identify their own support contact at opt-in and in the HELP response.
8. Carrier disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy
Mobile information and SMS consent are handled under the Privacy Policy (kokuaos.com/legal/privacy). Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and are not transferred between unrelated businesses or messaging programs.
10. Changes
KokuaOS may update these SMS Terms under the Policies-update terms in the Master Terms & Conditions.
